I served as the 2-25 Stryker Brigade Combat Team Assistant Logistician - directly responsible for millions of dollars' worth of acquisition / contracts to keep the US Forces operational in terms of life support, resources, fuel, water, maintenance, and contracted security forces. The critical point to this is customer service and the ability to integrate the functions of supply, transportation, maintenance, aviation logistics, and medical service into a cohesive unit. I certified multiple Contract Officer Representatives to oversee the contracts on my behalf. Additionally I managed Field Ordering Officer funds - part of the Commander’s Emergency Response Program to cover small scale contingency operations while in combat.
